Description

Incredibly thin. Impressively fast. We have reduced the thickness of the submerged part of our new high-modulus pre-impregnated carbon masts by more than 15% compared to our standard carbon masts, while increasing the bending and torsional stiffness.

The HM80 favors disciplines without wind energy: prone surfing, pumping, and downwind. The shortest rope length along the entire mast length reduces drag and increases maneuverability. This offers more glide, more efficient pumping, and faster turns.

The HM85 covers all disciplines, focusing on foiling. Wind-powered disciplines require going against the wind to generate thrust. Part of this thrust comes from the front wing and another part from the mast.

To provide this thrust efficiently, the length of the rope in the submerged part of the mast is slightly longer. It increases near the top of the mast to maximize stiffness without a penalty in drag, as this part of the mast is out of the water once it is on the foil. A more efficient underwater body shape means less drag and, therefore, a higher maximum speed that is easier to achieve.

The ventilation in the mast is now a thing of the past. We have paid special attention to this detail, so regardless of the state of the sea, the ventilation in the mast's TE is significantly reduced.

The HM105 has been optimized for racing. The thickness of the submerged part of the mast is 1 mm thinner than that of the HM80 and HM85, to provide maximum top speed.

As a result, this mast is not for jumping. Like the HM85, the length of the rope in the submerged region has been adjusted to provide good performance when close-hauled, while the length of the rope increases above the waterline to maximize stiffness.

A more efficient body shape underwater means less resistance and, therefore, a higher maximum speed that is easier to achieve.
