The Orbit propels you quickly against the wind, with effortless control, extreme thrust, and a hang time that will leave you breathless. Without changing the DNA of the kite, we have designed it to feel smoother, lighter, faster, and even more predictable in the unpredictable.

In North, we understand what cyclists want in a high-performance and airy kite. For 2023, the Orbit feels even more responsive in all conditions. We have made small structural improvements to smooth out the canopy, optimizing the profile for less drag, greater forward speed, and smoother turns.

The slightly refined bridle means that the kite feels more stable and tolerant in gusty conditions and a lot of power, but it retains its ability to fly forward and catch you in the kite's loops.

We have reduced the total weight of the kite with lighter bladders in larger sizes and introduced a new two-layer material reinforcement at the trailing edge. The lighter the kite, the faster the direction, the more lift it creates, and the higher you jump. We have built the leading edge and the struts in our lighter N-Dure Dacron to significantly save more weight without compromising strength or durability.

We have also introduced two additional bar pressure options so you can choose from a lighter and more forgiving feel in cruise mode to an ultra-direct steering with a shorter depower stroke in megaloop mode. This new fourth setting gives you the confidence to do a loop with the kite even lower.

It is ideal for heavier riders with smaller kites and increases the support of the wing tip on those crazy days of over 40 knots. Tested by nature, proven on the podium. The Orbit has your back when the laws of gravity don't apply.
