It uses the same technology found in camping mattresses: simply fill it with air by blowing through the valve. There's no need to worry about air pressure changes on board flights, the Helio stays inflated throughout the journey and is also a gem for shorter day trips. We have created an elastic shoulder strap with an elastic system to remain taut when not in use. At the end of the day, the Helio can be decompressed into a compact shape for storage.
