Cabrinha significantly improved the Moto X last year. This year, the Moto X once again features the lightweight Lite frame, using HTD Lite Dacron and a refined canopy design. The significant weight reduction enhances the overall performance of the kite, making it more responsive.

Cabrinha created the Moto X canopy with Nano Ripstop Canopy. This canopy contains more threads, improving the stiffness and durability of the fabric, providing a more direct feel on the bar. The lines have less stretch to support this more direct feel. Rigid EVA rods are used on the trailing edge to prevent canopy flutter.
