We knew it was time to develop a wing that offered true high performance: speed and control, because all aspects of your own performance stem from there.

The goal was to design a product that would increase riders' confidence in stronger conditions, but the Flux goes much further; it delivers a new sense of connection, allowing you to interact more fully with the wind across its entire range of strength.

The Flux V1 features more panels than any other wing in our range, which helps achieve an optimal load structure and a very tight canopy for next-level handling.

Each size in the range has an optimized shape to ensure you feel like you're sailing with the same family of designs. Whether you're charging super high against the wind in smaller sizes, or holding more wind than you could imagine in larger sizes, each Flux model will help you sail faster and with greater control.

Our goal with each product is to make them fly as efficiently as possible, without compromising the belief that our customers should buy the best possible product.

Having our own factory in Vietnam, which exclusively produces Ozone products, offers true freedom in design.

Accelerating aerodynamic performance requires a complex mix of material selection and an intricate understanding of its implementation. Having full access to the factory gives our designers a unique advantage in understanding the application of materials.

For a high-performance model like the Flux, not only are the materials themselves important, but also the intricate positioning and the handcrafted workmanship by our team of expert seamstresses, which are key to the superior aerodynamic handling of the Flux.

While much of the design process through the more than 80 prototypes was about finding the magic point where all these elements worked in harmony, there are five features that truly enhance handling in the Flux and create a larger optimal point.

1. PRE-LOADED LEADING EDGE Goodbye to the loose fabric of the canopy and hello to more performance and a durable shape. Using a high-performance Dacron material that is rigid and strong, our designers have pre-loaded the leading edge to experience much less deformation under load. Combined with an optimized sail shape and horizontal panels for a tighter canopy, the Flux offers huge gains in aerodynamic performance.

2. DACRON PERFORMANCE 20% LIGHTER AND STIFFER The 125g Dacron used in the leading edge is also used in the strut, further enhancing the stiffness of the frame. In combination with the new rigid handles, the connection levels make you feel like you are part of the wind. The concern about buckling under pressure is now much lower, and the pre-loaded leading edge and reinforced strut of the Flux work sublimely in conjunction with the other design features. A new larger sweet spot in handling will allow you to find more control in stronger conditions, aim higher against the wind, reach higher speeds, and also pump more efficiently, making the lower end of the wing even more powerful.

3. MULTIPLIED SEWING STRENGTH AND CLEANER AERODYNAMICS The leading edge features a high cell count, creating a more perfectly curved shape and resulting in a purer aerofoil. The Flux is also designed with many more horizontal panels in the sail, better distributing the load across the fabric's structure. From the spar to the tip, each seam creates a stronger line connection in the sail and supports more load, reducing the stretch of the canopy. We build natural strength into our products and, therefore, you will often find that our designs are lighter than even the 'lightweight' exclusive designs of our competitors.

4. CARBON FIBER HANDLES WITH EVA GRIP Ergonomic front and rear handles made of carbon fiber with EVA grip that provide maximum control and comfort with an incredible feel and response. The front handle mount features a soft bumper to protect your head and board during water starts.

5. PERIMETER OF FORCE FIELD = OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE FOR LONGER TIME Positively positioned where the canopy loads are greatest, a new, stronger canopy material at the leading and trailing edges provides a shield around the central section of the sail. Channeling greater forces and helping to create a cleaner foil, the additional advantages are the reduction of stretching and the fact that the Flux will maintain a better wing shape throughout its lifespan.
