Atomic wood core
The sustainably grown Paulownia wood provides the lively and elastic character for which our boards are famous. The vertically laminated construction harnesses the collective strength of the wood grains and provides strength, consistent flexibility, and pop.

Single Shot Fusion Sidewalls
Using the same technology found in polyurethane skateboard wheels, our innovative manufacturing process infuses the rail into the core of the board in a single shot, producing unmatched cushioning and durability.

Carbon Inserts Bedrock
Lightweight, flexible, and durable inserts that maintain the flex of the board underfoot for a consistent feel from tip to tail.

Rails ofangled plan
Designed to completely redirect splashes outward and downward, these belly channels reduce the contact area between the board and the water surface. The grooved rails also help prevent a edge from catching during quick and unexpected landings.

Laser-cut precision channels
By using the latest in laser cutting technology for the channels, the Asylum offers cleaner take-offs, smoother landings, better response, tons of grip, load and pop, and wind resistance.
