Sonar S238 Stabilizer

Flat, loose, and fast. The S238 stabilizer is a high-performance upgrade to the Sonar Foil system for experienced cyclists.

It has a higher aspect ratio than the S270, which means less drag, and the flatter curvature (front view) allows for greater maneuverability.

The S238 is designed to pair with the new MA1200/MA1500 and the larger front wings HA, giving your setup a faster and more responsive feel. 

The North Stabs are mounted on top of the fuselage, which helps them avoid the turbulence from the front wing's airflow, creating a smoother ride.

This top mounting also gives the cyclist an early warning of failure: the stab first pierces the surface of the water, giving them a better chance to recover before the front wing rises too much. 

Like the front wings, all Sonar stabilizers are made of pre-impregnated carbon, ensuring optimal stiffness and direct performance. The thin section of the profile reduces drag, while the material properties help maintain structural integrity and stiffness.

The stab wounds have a great influence on performance. As you move towards smaller wing sizes, we recommend switching to a smaller stabilizer to make it more maneuverable. Experienced cyclists will really feel the difference. A new tail can have a big impact on your style.
