Sonar HA1450 Front Wing

The Sonar High Aspect Front Wing series is designed to provide the highest possible speed and efficiency across a variety of disciplines, from kitesurfing to prone foiling.

With this wing style, you need minimal pumping and power to generate lift.

The length of the shortest string defines the thickness of the profile and, with a thin profile, resistance is reduced. The wingspan gives you stability and a slightly longer turning radius than a wing with a lower aspect ratio of the same size.

The tips of the wings are refined to ensure that there is no ventilation when tilted, giving you the ability to make turns with tighter radii at higher speeds without losing speed. The larger HA1450 is ideal for launches at docks, pumping to connect wave after wave, coastal runners, or stealing wakes.

A favor of the wind: the ocean waves move faster in open sea, more slowly in shallow waters or closer to the shore.

The faster you move through the water, the more options you will have to choose a more efficient line. The smaller the wing, the less gliding surface = less lift and higher stall speed.
