The Zero kite bar was created to give the rider the most direct control.

To achieve this, we have removed all the EVA that is normally found in a control bar and have used a 3K carbon construction that provides the stiffest control system without control loss due to flex. Our industry-leading aluminum insert with a replaceable Nylatron center reduces friction and wear on the trimming line, one of the factors that gives the rider direct control of their kite. The Nylatron insert uses titanium hardware, preventing the screw heads from coming loose.

All control and flight lines are Cousins' premium 400 TLS lines. The quick release mechanism is made of 316 stainless steel to prevent corrosion. The Zero bar also uses the industry-leading cleat manufacturer, ClamCleat, as an adjustable trimming system.

Quick release:

• Pressure shackle QR: This disconnect has all the strength of a standard pressure shackle with the added advantage that it can be released under load, so you know it will disconnect when you need it.
