Often, lighter riders find it more difficult to control large, stiff boards designed for heavier weights. With this in mind, we set out to create a board with a more responsive flex for smaller-built riders, one that provides greater control in a variety of conditions, increased comfort, and smoother landings, without sacrificing performance.

The length of Astra's smallest table, its narrowest stance, and its basalt technology construction provide cyclists of all levels with just the right amount of flex to perform controlled carves, pushes, and loops.

With its super efficient bottom shape and rocker, the board feels fast on the water and flies against the wind. The medium flex is dense enough to provide a clean and powerful pop, but soft enough to be forgiving on your knees and legs during harder landings. Sending it has never been easier.
