The Slingshot RPX V1 2022 kite is the evolution of the legendary Slingshot RPM. The first version of the RPX is super versatile: freeride, freestyle, big air, and kiteloops! The open C design provides a direct kite with good response, giving you the confidence to push your limits with the Slingshot RPX V1.

In comparison to the RPM, the Slingshot RPX V1 has had almost countless updates to make the kite even more versatile and user-friendly. Slingshot clearly explains all the updates in the video at the bottom of the page. Here we will explain the most important updates of the Slingshot RPX.

Through a complete change from RPM to RPX, Slingshot has managed to save 10% in weight. But that's not all. The trailing edge of the RPX V1 has been completely revamped. By redesigning the trailing edge, the canopy is tighter, the RPX has less turbulence, drag, and canopy flutter. This ensures that the Slingshot RPX V1 turns faster and shorter for a better freeride experience.
The bridle lines of the Slingshot RPX have been made 25% thinner. The result of this is that the lines have less resistance with the air, allowing the RPX V1 to fly faster and making it easy to catch yourself after a sick kiteloop. Additionally, the construction has been completely modernized. The number of panels in the canopy has been reduced from 108 to 20. This has significantly improved airflow, giving a great boost to the overall performance of the RPX V1 kite.
The Slingshot RPX V1 2022 kite now has the option to attach the lines to the kite in different ways. A small change has a big consequence. This way you can perfectly adjust the RPX V1 for each session. The latest change is the enlargement of the pump hoses, so you can inflate the Slingshot RPX V1 even faster and you'll be the first in the water!
