The Slingshot SST V7 kite continues to push the limits of a kitesurfing kite. We have implemented a new Dacron that is lighter and offers even more performance. This new material, along with the thinnest and lightest bladders ever made, has made the SST V7 kite one of the lightest three-strut kites ever produced. Ben Wilson, Slingshot team rider and kitesurfing pioneer, continues to challenge our development team to push the limits of speed and drift. Based on the platform of the SST V6 that Ben loved, the Slingshot design team rose to the occasion and delivered an even more refined SST V7 that offers ultra-fast response and precision turns.

At Slingshot, they are constantly testing and searching for the best materials. This year they have introduced a new Dacron in the leading edges and ribs that translates into greater lightness and stiffness than in previous years.

QUICK RESPONSE WINGTIPS

The additional curvature at the tip of the SST V7 kite combined with IRS bridle technology provides greater speed and a more responsive handling capability, completely revolutionizing its performance upwind and its relaunch from the water.

MICRO-RIBS

The new SST V7 kite uses the thinnest and lightest ribs yet. These smaller diameter ribs provide sufficient overall structure for the kite while reducing weight and drag to allow for next-level upwind capability and responsiveness.

WITHOUT PULLEYS IN THE BRIDGING SYSTEM

By eliminating the pulleys, riders will feel a more instant and direct connection to the kite. They use ultra-thin and static bridle lines. Riders will feel less resistance in the air due to this aerodynamic bridle system.

ONE PUMP SYSTEM

The patented invention of Slingshot has received an update. They have increased the diameters of the One Pump tubes for a cleaner airflow and have repositioned the tubes to make them more aerodynamic and durable.
