Given that the RPX originated from the DNA of the famous RPM, the new RPX has become a staple in the Slingshot lineup. The kite has been the favorite of Brazilian Carlos Mario Bebe for several years, and he has been crowned champion multiple times with this legendary Slingshot kite. The Slingshot RPX V2 2024 is a three-strut kite that offers excellent performance for freestyle thanks to its unique shape. The C-shaped arc (also known as the kite's arc) provides direct response and handling, while the slack is perfectly synchronized for your freestyle tricks. With fairly square wingtips and a low aspect, the RPX spins quickly, allowing you to perform powerful kiteloops with the new RPX. In addition to these performance-oriented features, the RPX easily navigates against the wind and has a wide wind range. 

The new Slingshot RPX V2 features an updated frame. The leading edge and struts of the V2 are made from high-strength polyester. This material, known as FrameLITE, minimizes stretching in all directions, enhancing stiffness for greater responsiveness and better kite handling. It is also lighter, weighing only 160 grams per square meter. The bridles have also been improved in the V2. They are 25% thinner and maintain the same strength as the bridles used previously. These thinner bridles, made from new materials, reduce drag.

The canopy (fabric) of the Slingshot RPX V2 is made with 4x4 Canopy Tech. This fabric is the strongest and stiffest from Slingshot, ensuring that you can enjoy your beloved RPX for as long as possible. The fabric is reinforced with ripstop nylon and features a 4x4 weave to make it highly resistant to tears and punctures. The RPX can be fully customized according to your preferences. Thanks to the different frame options, you can lengthen or shorten the steering and power lines to adjust the turning speed, power, and angle of attack.
